Common Investment Fund

The investments of the J Sainsbury Pension and Death Benefit Scheme and the J Sainsbury Executive Pension Scheme are pooled for investment management purposes in the J Sainsbury Common Investment Fund.

The Fund is run by the Trustee Boards, who hold the investments and other assets separately from those of the Company. There are five Company appointed Trustees and four Member Nominated Trustees.

The Company appointed Trustees are the same for both Schemes, although it each has different Member Trustees.
